at last.....this is it! and so the 40-day fasting ends today, however, i believe the journey continues...and must go on!

i woke up late....huhuhu! (birthday hangover, eh)
*attended the 2nd service
*played the drums in matina (take note: Val played the bass - his first time, not bad!)
*visited the wake of micah's cousin (dad of Nash) @ Cosmo....
---during the wake, i couldn't help but stare at the flowers and wreaths... i thought to myself, when my "time" comes, i would want my flowers to be white and pink, people would play loud music, perhaps there would be a band...hmmm! just a thought...funeral or wedding?!

today marks the beginning of another year---and i'm hoping that it would be a (more) fruitful one....
it's been a busy day....whew! but like any other day, it has to end....
i really feel blessed to have people who are so thoughtful...all of you made my day joyous!

exactly 25 minutes from now, i'll be turning 26...whew!
i've been through different seasons of my life and i thank God for his faithfulness...for 25 years He's been with me, beside me, over me! no words can ever express how thankful i am....still, i want to thank the Lord.... He has blessed me with so many things --my biological family, spiritual family, job, colleagues, friends...i could not ask for more! (ei, naa diay....only God knows...hahaha).
i've been existing for a quarter of the century already (too short a time)...and now, im going to end my silver years...but, im excited for the coming year (and years) and the things that God has prepared for me....=)
with great anticipation....
hala, i just realized, 4 years more....i'll be there 30 already!hehehehe....
wala lang...
the clock's ticking...can't stop it! 26 here i come!weeee...
i wonder who would be the first to greet??! hmmm....

senior boys scouts overnight camp @ camp corazon
i was in charged of the documentation (had fun taking pictures)
there was heavy downpour in the late afternoon but thank God we were able to have the camp fire..
rizma, cathy and i slept in the van ("eric the starex)...it was our first time! =)

even if we do things the right way, some would still be unsatisfied...
we give our best, yet, people don't appreciate us...
i guess the saying "you cannot please everybody" is indeed true...
hurting as it may seem, but we have to admit that life's like that!
we just have to focus on GOD and stop pleasing the people around us...
it's comforting to know that God loves us (and would still love us) despite our imperfection...
now, that's a consolation...
we give our best, yet, people don't appreciate us...

it's not about fairness, but sacrifice....
most of the time, we long for equality...but life is unfair! no matter what we do, life would always be like that...
after reading 1 Kings chapter 3, i realized that life is not just about clamoring for equality but living and willingness to sacrifice...how much are we willing to give?how far would we go?
hard, isn't it? but that's how life goes...
nevertheless, life must go on...
whoever is willing to sacrifice, wins the prize...
