day 28 and 29

senior boys scouts overnight camp @ camp corazon

i was in charged of the documentation (had fun taking pictures)

there was heavy downpour in the late afternoon but thank God we were able to have the camp fire..

rizma, cathy and i slept in the van ("eric the starex)...it was our first time! =)

day 27

star scouts and kab scouts day camp @ catalina garden

it's been fun though i was scorched by the sun's heat...
but thank God for the good weather...

it's not easy handling young boys, you know how they act...hehehe!
but it was great...boys are really boys!

even if we do things the right way, some would still be unsatisfied...

we give our best, yet, people don't appreciate us...

i guess the saying "you cannot please everybody" is indeed true...

hurting as it may seem, but we have to admit that life's like that!

we just have to focus on GOD and stop pleasing the people around us...

it's comforting to know that God loves us (and would still love us) despite our imperfection...

now, that's a consolation...

i didn't have a good sleep.
had a bad headache.
wasn't able to attend the morning service.

but, got my portion in the afternoon service.
thank God....

im grateful i belong to a team of 12.
a great one at that....

it's not about fairness, but sacrifice....

most of the time, we long for equality...but life is unfair! no matter what we do, life would always be like that...

after reading 1 Kings chapter 3, i realized that life is not just about clamoring for equality but living and willingness to sacrifice...how much are we willing to give?how far would we go?

hard, isn't it? but that's how life goes...

nevertheless, life must go on...
whoever is willing to sacrifice, wins the prize...

last night, i dreamt about my high school classmates...it was like a reunion!

it felt weird but somehow, it dawned on me --- i owe them "something" and i must pay them...

hmmmm...gotta start working!

im so caught with many things lately...

projects here and there, checking test papers, and so on...

but proverbs 18:9 says "he who is slack in his work is a brother to the one who destroys."

i already got used to "not eating" breakfast, lunch and junk food...thank God for the strength!

but somehow, i feel physically weak...my eyes are heavy and i find myself dozing off... whenever i get home, i fall asleep right away...hah!

there goes the sleepyhead---that's me!

i had many sleepless nights due to pending work and assignments (MA stuff)...sometimes, i feel like drawing back, but, life must go on...

gelai and i spent the night burning our brows just to finish our case study...
by the way, thank you deric for helping us in editing the vids...

finally, it's Saturday, the big day...
im not so excited, in fact, im anxious....our project's not done!hahay...

by 2.30, we were done then off we went to usep...

good thing, our prof was in a good mood...thank you maam!

day 6 - tuesday, oct 6

mama's 51st birthday....

i woke up finding myself alone...that's because my family (father, mother, brother, sister - happy brush your teeth! haha) left for Buug, Zamboanga...hmmm! how wish i could be with them...

but it's ok...since i started working, i already got accustomed to being "left behind" --of course, for a reason.....

im maybe alone, but not lonely...guess who's making me happy! tweeng...

day 5 - happy day

i expected a lot of things today but they didn't turn out the way they should be...i was suppose to meet some girls for open cell but they didn't show up...hmmm! it's ok, God is still good...i was able to spend time with jennifer, got to talk about some things...

still a happy day =) there's more to life than feeling bad, right!

day 3 - history maker

after conducting the case study, gelai and i attended lawrence's (one of my learners) birthday party @ jollibee nccc...we felt refreshed (dami food)..

we attended the launching of reload LIVE WIRE!!! see, we're history makers....yeah! i love making history....hahaha! it makes me look back at the past, and thank God even more...

the "leah" project

such a great experience conducting a case study...gelai and i spent hours observing, interviewing leah (te annabel & kuya edward's uniqua hija))..it was fun doing it...we actually felt like shooting scenes in a movie...haha! leah was very cooperative--thank God=)

we were amazed because we proved the law of conservation (related to Jean Piaget's stages of cognitive development)...haha again!

ok...so, what's next? upload the video clips, edit...etc!

i was supposed to blog yesterday but sad to say, i fell asleep...was so tired after the night's event...haha! nevertheless, i had a great time...the Word was so powerful, touching, life-changing...hmp! got to do something!

1 down, 39 to go

first day...i had to re-learn (fasting) and unlearn (eating junkfoods--huhu).. but everything went well! thank God...my power devo today is from 2 Corinthians 12:9 - "God's grace is sufficient for us, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness."

i really like this verse...indeed, God is our great source of strength especially in times of trials, struggles.. He is really awesome!^_^
